I've enjoyed my car since new with now over 150k miles. Since it's a VW, I've had my share of problems and probably won't buy another VW, but I've enjoyed owning/driving it . Looking at eventually replacing it with a mid-size sedan. I've been looking at the new Honda Accord or new Mazda 6.

thats unfortunate that you had issues with your vw, they all have some quirks. the new models are far more supirior than the mk4's (i used to work for vw)
i was looking at purchasing a 2008 jetta gli 2.0t it drove great and the guys in the shop didnt see very many of them in for repairs.
